This is the secret ingridient from perhaps one of my mother-in-law's most famous recipes, her Latin Flank Steak. This is a mouthwatering, savory dry rub of course great on steaks, but can also be used in veggie dishes, and even with chicken (GASP)!
Pro tip: Miss Alice massages the steaks with olive oil before applying the rub. This technique is called "blooming" because it really brings out the flavor. It also helps retain the moisture in the steak.
