There is something about the outside of a horse that is good for the inside of a man,"
-Winston Churchill

"Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver." 2 Corinthians 9:7

Why We Give

We believe in giving gladly and giving often, and that by doing this God can use us to change the world for the better, little by little every day.

What We Give

Truly \ Beef has decided to give back to the Lord what He has so generously given us and tithe 10% of our profits to a charity that we can stand behind.

How We Give

When you go to order your beef package, you will have an option to choose from a list of charities to donate to. At the end of the year, everything will be added up and donated.

Forged Valor has recently taken the place of our donations to The Semper Fi Fund. Our family has worked with co-founders John Mayer and Mo Smith since 2014 - formerly through the Semper Fi Fund and now through their non-profit Forged Valor to bring a new sense of purpose, grit, and skills through horsemanship, cattle work and hands on trade skills to civilian life for our veteran men and women. John and Mo (and the Kerns family) have witnessed first hand how working with animals, outdoors, and with your hands can be healing to the soul. When the Semper Fi Fund shut down their horsemanship program after a few years of low funding, John and Mo took matters into their own hands and Forged Valor was born.

Free Food Friday started at Grace Anglican Church after the tragic suicide of a Sheridan High School student. Friends came to gather and talk about the tragedy over lunch with Pastor Kevin Jones. Over time, it grew into lunch for over 100 Sheridan High School students. It is suicide prevention, fellowship, and a way to experience God's abundant love and grace. All you have to do is show up.
